New York Bridal Market has come and gone but I wanted to revisit it one more time. I was happy to see something different this year but wasn’t expecting it from Vera Wang! I personally love the black, nude and cream colors she used in the dresses, with deconstructed chiffon, silk, and tulle…it’s all very romantic. So brides, if you’re looking for a twist on a wedding gown Vera has got you covered. Another designer I am pleasantly surprised with is Jenny Packham. She has managed to create elegant, ornate, vintage gowns with beautiful details and beading. This just happened to be one of favorite collections this year!
Creating a registry is one of the fun parts of getting married. Many couples go overboard and list the fancy espresso makers or the special occasion china, which are great but don’t forget the practical, every day items.
One of my favorite stores in New York City is Fishs Eddy. It’s full of quirky, practical, and sturdy kitchenware at great prices. They help brighten up meals and serve as perfect conversation starters for entertaining. Fishs Eddy now offers gift registry, a great alternative for couples. Shop their site and create a registry here!
