It’s that time again, the models have taken to the catwalks and the designers have displayed the best of their collections. Fall Ready to Wear 2012 has come and gone and I’ll be highlighting a few of my favorites. Starting out with Marchesa which I always look forward to seeing! Georgina Chapman and Keran Craig thrusted us into a realm of otherworldliness with their shimmering silhouettes and tulle. White feathers were sewn into the bodices in wing formations and gave the collection a sort of dreamy but still glamorous feel.
New York Bridal Market has come and gone but I wanted to revisit it one more time. I was happy to see something different this year but wasn’t expecting it from Vera Wang! I personally love the black, nude and cream colors she used in the dresses, with deconstructed chiffon, silk, and tulle…it’s all very romantic. So brides, if you’re looking for a twist on a wedding gown Vera has got you covered. Another designer I am pleasantly surprised with is Jenny Packham. She has managed to create elegant, ornate, vintage gowns with beautiful details and beading. This just happened to be one of favorite collections this year!
We are wrapping up this week with the super cute engagement session of Jamie & Kirsten. Love the Fall feel of these images, especially the pumpkin patch! Enjoy these amazing images by Blush Wedding Photography.
