Real Boudoir – Vintage Style!

February 24, 2012

Been playing around with the idea of a boudoir shoot but want a way to keep it classy? Why not go vintage! I love this shoot by Henry + Masci Photography. Everything for the shoot was kept authentic, using real pieces from the 1950’s & 60’s.  Perfectly executed and so beautiful!

Boudoir Sessions

March 21, 2011

Boudoir sessions are becoming more and more popular with brides. Why? Because it really is the perfect gift for your groom! Boudoir has come a long way. Gone are the days of cheesy, “Glamour Shot” type sessions. These are artistic & beautiful. Some of you may feel a little uncomfortable getting down to your skivvies for a photographer, which is understandable. That’s why it is important to look for a photographer that has a great reputation and will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Also, check with your wedding photographer, if you already have one booked, because in most cases they already shoot these types of sessions for their brides.

Don’t forget, you also need to make sure that you have in writing how the photographer will use your images. Reputable photographers will not use your images for marketing or their portfolio unless they have your permission. So, once you have your privacy protected, you can rest assured that only the photographer and your guy will see these beautiful images. Now all you have to do is tune into your inner supermodel and work it! (Oh, and a glass of wine never hurts!)
