Who doesn’t love a table full of candy!! Give your guests the gift of feeling like a kid again at your wedding reception by laying out a table full of everyone’s favorite candy! Glass apothecary jars of all sizes are the perfect way to elegantly display the candies. Let your guests scoop up the goods into little bags with a signature stamp of your new monogram. Or perhaps mini Chinese take-out boxes would give the table display a funkier vibe. Is your event going to be a formal chocolate bon bon kind of event or a more whimsical candy dots type of affair? Whether it be a table filled with every chocolate imaginable or a color coordinated vintage candy road trip, a candy buffet is the way to spoil your guests!
Table linens might be something that you leave up to your wedding coordinator, but there are so many options that you might as well jump in and have a little fun! Graceful Tables is a great source for high-quality linens if you live in Nashville or Atlanta. They have everything from the classic white to an endless amount of color options. Of course, me being a fan of the classic & elegant white, silver & gold hues, I picked a few of my favorites below. Definitely check out Graceful Tables’ site to see the wide variety they offer.
So you have selected YOUR dress – THE dress – DREAM dress and you honestly can not wait to wear it on your big day. Why not just add one more dress to the mix? I love the idea of a reception dress. Having one amazing, couture gown for your ceremony and then changing into something fun and flirty for your reception. It just tells your guest you are ready to celebrate – ready to get down and might even just throw them for a loop on your fashion choices. Very recently we had a Nordstrom open here in Nashville and since then this store has been all the craze in town. They have an amazing selection of reception dresses in store and especially online that would all ultimately be a divine choice.
This is your time to have fun – show your personality and kick up your heels. Let’s party girls!
It all started with the royal wedding – beautiful Kate & Pippa both dressed in elegant white gowns. Then came the ill-fated Kim Kardashian wedding, where all the bridesmaids wore white. This got me thinking, is the white on white trend going mainstream or is this something that only royals & celebrities can pull off? I actually like the look if it’s pulled off correctly and doesn’t leave your bridesmaids looking like the bride, but tell us, what do you think of this new trend?
Love this cute engagement session of Dan & Denae in Seattle! I’m a sucker for beautiful light and this session is a perfect example. When planning your session with your photographer, make sure to ask them when the best time to shoot during the day will be. Most will say early morning or right before sunset. Trust me, it will make all the difference! Enjoy these beautiful images by Kaylee Eylander Photography.
