I saw this idea the other day on Pintrest and I thought it was one of the coolest things I had seen in a while! Using a parachute as a canopy in your reception area. What a great way to possibly cover up a less than desirable ceiling & add great ambiance to a room! Apparently it is also a budget friendly option as well…rentals can be as low as $35!

Many of the local trend research companies report updated data for the Fashion Industry, in general for each season. The best part about many of these reports is that they can EASILY transcend into all things Bridal. If you think – especially in regards to color – rolling these trends into not only your bridesmaids dresses, but your florals, your invites and even your linens.

The Pantone Fashion Color Report for Spring 2012 was debuted during New York Fashion Week. Many of these colors speak of “renewed energy” and would be beautiful when translated into any Wedding setting planned for Spring forward.

Ombre – oh how we love you! For those not familiar with the word, ombre is french for shaded – or maybe you thought ombre was a cowboy or something else manly like that! Anyways, this has been a pretty big trend for 2011 and I’m predicting it will be even bigger in ’12! So many ways you could incorporate ombre into your wedding day! Some of my favorites…

With wedding season quickly approaching and spring just around the corner I thought we’d take a look at the latest makeup trends for 2012, and where better to look than Chanel. The array of colors can best be described as dawn and sunset shades from the Spring Harmony Collection. My favorite look is from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Shell pink lips, and coral blush all finished with an iridescent shimmer.

Love this sweet bridal session of Natasha from Chris and Adrienne Scott Photographers.  Natasha is absolutely breathtaking and I think this session shows why it is so important to bring in professionals for your bridal session, from hair/makeup to florists.  It makes the end result flawless.  Enjoy!

Simple and clean lines can have such a glamorous feel. Giving off an effortless essence that can seem like old Hollywood glam. I am loving what many of the designers are doing with their collections. The designs can seem so simple – but the fabrics seem so rich which can create such an impact on the actual designs. There is so much that you can so with a simple and elegant gown. You can accessorize it with statement jewelry or some magnificant hair piece. Or create your own effortless look at take one of these gowns to your beachside-beachblown hair-barefoot wedding.

I am especially loving what J.Crew has debuted in their latest collection. Gorgeous fabrics anmd details in each dress – giving it each its own perfect touch. Pearlized back buttons closures or boning in the bodice and even detailed draping – each can give off such a glamorous look and feel. I say, throw on a little red lipstick and some fabulous shoes and you are ready to walk down that aisle with ease.
