Veil and fascinator by Anna be
More and more brides are choosing not to wear a veil on their wedding day. Instead they are adorning their hair with everything from feathers to rhinestones! How do you decide whether to wear a veil or a fascinator? Think about the style of your dress, the theme of your wedding, and the feeling you want to convey on your wedding day. Veils are classic and can be very dramatic while fascinators can create a retro chic feel and add a touch of whimsy. If you cannot decide, wear the veil for your ceremony and a fascinator to your reception. After all it is your day.
Fascinators by Ban. dō
It is important when buying either your veil or fascinator that you have your dress with you (or at least a picture of it). Closer to the wedding, if choosing to wear both, it is also very important to have a run through with your hair stylist in order to ensure a smooth transition from veil to fascinator. It is possible to over-do it. If you have decided to wear jewelry make sure that your hair accessories add to but do not distract. A good rule of thumb is edit, edit, edit.
