Vogue.com released their wedding guide and I had such a fun time looking through all of their picks. I decided to do a collage of some of my favorite pieces as inspiration for a more dramatic look. I wanted to stay with neutral colors of white, gold and pearl. There’s something very timeless and elegant about this color palette.
1. The dress – Zac Posen, in my opinion is one of the best evening wear designers. He knows how to make a woman feel glamorous and beautiful and has a gift for flattering the female figure.
2. If you’re looking for something other than a necklace or earrings try a bracelet or cuff. This was my favorite find in the Vogue wedding guide, a gold cuff by Mars and Valentine. It makes quite the statement piece and could replace a necklace if it’s too much for the dress.
3. My other favorite find was the ring by Cathy Waterman. I’m not a traditional type girl so when I saw this ring I knew it was perfect for the collage. It has an almost antique look to it and I love detailing in the band and how it wraps around the diamond.
4. And last the shoes, oh the shoes! One cannot go wrong with a pair of Christian Louboutin’s and if there’s one day to wear them, it’s most certainly on your wedding day!
